I just watched a Nova special on dreams and I learned two things
1. During REM sleep, your mind tries to predict future situations, and then tries out different methods of dealing with said situations
2. After a few nights of practice; if you think of something before you go to sleep, you can incorporate it in a dream 50% of the time
Conclusion: tonight I’m going to think of burritos and Malbec before I go to bed and dream of how to not get fat but also have endless burritos and Malbec.
